Sweet Dream Zadie

Hi. I'm Joanne. I'm a stay at home mother living in Brooklyn, wife to my darling husband Nate, aka super-dad extraordinaire. We love music, good food, old things, and adventures. Together, we're raising Zadie May, our sweet little daughter who's been rocking our world since 2010.

Flappers and Philosophers Jazz Party

We went to a jazz lawn party at the Andrew Freedman House in the Bronx on Sunday.  It was called Flappers and Philosophers and was inspired by the 1920s F. Scott Fitzgerald era.  Everyone was dressed up, the music was outstanding, and the gorgeous afternoon weather couldn’t have been more perfect. 

Avalon, NJ in May

We spent a few days down the beach at Avalon, NJ last week.  Zadie loved playing in the sand and chasing the seagulls around.

A trip to Storm King Art Center

In October we took a day trip to Storm King Art Center, near West Point, NY.  It was so much fun.  Zadie loved running through the fields and crawling up the sculptures.
